A Question Worth Asking

Terrie Power Coaching

…

Hi Reader

Have you ever noticed that one conversation can change the direction of your life?

Not because someone gave you the answer. Because they asked a question you hadn't considered. I've been thinking about that a lot this month as Terrie Power Coaching celebrates five years.

When I look back, I don't remember every strategy I tried.

I remember the conversations.

The People Behind the Progress

I've realized something I didn't expect.

The biggest moments in my journey weren't the days I had everything figured out. They were the days someone helped me see what I couldn't see on my own. Jason saw possibility when I saw obstacles. My coach challenged me to think bigger. My collective community encouraged me when I was ready to quit.

It's funny...I used to think progress came from finding the right plan.

Now I think it comes from asking the right questions.

A Question Worth Asking

Who helps you see possibility?

Not the people who always agree with you.

The people who ask thoughtful questions.

The ones who celebrate your wins but aren't afraid to challenge your thinking.

The ones who remind you what you're capable of when you've forgotten.

Take two minutes today and make a list.

Who would you put on your personal board of directors?

If your list feels short, don't judge yourself.

Just notice it.

Sometimes awareness is the first step toward building the community you need.

One Small Step

This week, reach out to one person on your list.

Thank them and schedule coffee. Maybe ask for advice. Or simply let them know the difference they've made in your life.

You might be surprised where that conversation leads.

Something to Think About

One question has stayed with me all week, and I haven't stopped thinking about it:

Who is becoming the voice you listen to most?

The answer shapes more than we often realize.

A Quick Celebration Update 🎉

As part of my five-year celebration, I opened the Powered Momentum Mastermind to the public for a limited time for only $50 for a year. We meet once a month and connect on Voxer. The offer ends July 31 but our next meeting is Monday at 7:00 pm Central.

I don't expect to do this again because it's normally reserved for members of the Powered Momentum Collective.

Before You Go...

Who is one person you could thank today for helping you become who you are?

That might be the most important email, text, or phone call you make this week.

Celebrating with you,

Terrie

Sometimes growth asks us to build differently. Terrie Power Coaching … I've been thinking about something this week. School has been back in session for about four weeks now, and it finally hit me... My life is really different now. For years, August meant getting ready for another school year. It was one of my favorite times of the year. I loved the excitement, the people, the traditions...all of it. This year was different. Instead of getting a classroom ready, I was sitting at my desk...

Sometimes the best update isn't adding something new. Terrie Power Coaching … I've been thinking about something this week. Isn't it funny how we're so quick to blame ourselves when something stops working? Our first thought is usually, "I need to try harder." We rarely stop to ask if life has changed. And honestly...life changes all the time. Maybe the kids are back in school. Maybe your business has grown. Maybe you're caring for aging parents. Or maybe your priorities have quietly shifted...

A reboot isn't about starting over. Terrie Power Coaching … Last week I introduced the idea of a Reboot, Update, or Restore. Several of you reached out after reading the blog, and one question kept coming up: "Okay...but where do I start?" My answer is probably simpler than you're expecting. When we feel out of rhythm, we tend to think we need to fix everything. We start making long lists, creating new routines, or convincing ourselves that this time we're finally going to do it all. I've...
