What February Is Teaching Me About Support...

Supporting with Intention

Terrie Power Coaching

I’ve been noticing how February asks for something different.

Not a fresh start.
Not a reset.

More like settling in.

This month keeps pulling my attention back to how I want to live with the goals I’ve already named, while also paying attention to the people I love most. My husband. My family. The relationships that matter even when nothing looks productive.

It doesn’t feel separate from intentional living.
It feels like part of it.

Here’s what I keep noticing.

February feels like a month for setting the rhythm of our days while also remembering that love needs rhythm too. Not big gestures. Just the ordinary ways we show up, support each other, and stay connected when life keeps moving.

Pause here for a second.

Who are you trying to love well right now?

Just something to try, if you need it.

Instead of asking how to do more this month, notice how the people around you feel supported. What steadies them. What helps them feel understood. What makes it easier for them to stay connected when things feel busy or heavy.

This is where the Enneagram keeps coming to mind for me.

We don’t all give or receive love the same way. Some people need encouragement. Some need clarity. Some need reassurance. Some need space. This shows up differently depending on how you’re wired, especially under stress.

Because it’s February, I wanted to offer a small gift.

I put together a guide called How to Love Each Enneagram Type. It’s not about fixing anyone or putting people in boxes. It’s more like having a simple map to how the people you care about experience support, stress, and connection.

It’s meant to help love land the way it’s intended. With others. And with yourself.

If that feels useful, you can download it here:

I’ve been reminding myself that this month isn’t about getting it right. It’s about continuing with care. Letting rhythms form. Letting love be practical and personal.

If this made you think of someone, feel free to pass it along.

Terrie

Find the joy in the hard Terrie Power Coaching … Joy in a hard world The world feels heavy right now. There are things happening that scare us. News that unsettles us. Economic shifts. Health concerns. Violence. Division. So much uncertainty that it can feel irresponsible to even talk about joy or ambition. And yet, we are still here. Still building.
