Terrie Power Coaching

I started putting my goals into place this month and almost immediately hit a few bumps.

Not big, dramatic ones. Just enough friction to make me stop and think.

I had done the planning. I knew what I wanted to focus on.

But as the month moved on, it became clear that parts of my week were not actually set up to support what I had just decided mattered.

Especially exercise.

I had this new idea of how it would fit in. On paper, it made sense.

In real life, not so much.

And then there were the outside stressors. The kind you don’t schedule. The kind that quietly drains energy and attention. By midweek, I realized getting into a new routine felt harder than I expected.

So instead of pushing through, I slowed down.

I made more time to look at next week. Not to scrap the goal, but to check the rituals and rhythms around it. To see where the support was missing.

Here’s what I keep noticing…

When something isn’t working, it usually isn’t a motivation problem. It’s a support problem.

The goal might be solid. The desire is there. But the week itself needs adjusting.

That part surprised me a little.

Pause here for a second.

What part of your current routine might need support before the goal can really take root?

Just something to try, if you need it.

Instead of asking whether you’re being consistent enough, take a few quiet minutes to ask whether your current rhythms are actually helping.

Sometimes the most helpful move is not more effort, but a small redesign of the week you’re already living.

Lastly, I’ve been grounding myself in the idea of steadiness over strain.

Trusting that small, thoughtful adjustments matter more than forcing momentum that doesn’t fit the season.

It’s a space to slow down, look honestly at your week, and notice what might need a little more support. No pressure. No fixing. Just conversation and clarity.

It’s for people who don’t need more motivation, but do want steady structure, reflection, and accountability as goals and seasons shift.

You’re not behind.

Terrie

PS. Want to learn more about habits and rituals? I’m hosting a free monthly meetup focused on habits and rituals that support goal momentum.

If consistency has been the missing piece for you, the Consistency Compass Cohort is open now. Six weeks. Clear rhythms. Real support.

Find the joy in the hard Terrie Power Coaching … Joy in a hard world The world feels heavy right now. There are things happening that scare us. News that unsettles us. Economic shifts. Health concerns. Violence. Division. So much uncertainty that it can feel irresponsible to even talk about joy or ambition. And yet, we are still here. Still building. Still trying to live intentionally. I’ve been thinking about joy. Not the kind that waits at the finish line. The kind that lives inside the...

Our personality has patterns Terrie Power Coaching … The Moment That Made Me Question Hustle Years ago, I sat in a room listening to someone talk about hustle.
