Introduction: Joyful Focus Advent Calendar

Joyful Focus Advent Calendar

Introduction

The countdown begins!

Tomorrow, we’ll open the first day of our Advent journey together. I’m so excited to share this season with you as we take time to reflect, grow, and make space for what truly matters during the holidays.

This journey isn’t about adding more to your already full plate. It’s about finding peace, joy, and love amidst the busyness of the season. It’s about helping you get what you want out of the holidays—whether that’s more connection, more rest, or more time to enjoy the little things.

Here’s what you can expect over the next 25 days:

  • Productivity Tips: Simple, practical strategies to keep you focused on what matters most.
  • Enneagram Insights: We’ll use this powerful tool to uncover your unique strengths and challenges. (The Enneagram is a framework that helps you understand your personality and motivations—perfect for navigating the season in a way that works for you!)
  • Mindset Shifts: Small changes in perspective that can create big changes in how you experience the holidays.
  • Just Plain Fun: Activities, reflections, and moments of joy to bring light to your days.

Together, we’ll explore ways to balance the holiday chaos with calm, the stress with joy, and the noise with quiet reflection. Along the way, we’ll also take time to focus on the deeper meaning of the season—a season of love, hope, and connection.

As part of this Advent journey, I’ve created daily affirmation and scripture cards to bring encouragement and inspiration to your season. We know everyone celebrates Advent and the holiday season differently, so there’s something for everyone:

  • The scripture cards are perfect for those seeking faith-based encouragement, reflecting on the promises of hope, peace, and joy found in God’s word.
  • The affirmation cards offer meaningful, non-faith-based reminders to uplift and inspire anyone, no matter how you approach this time of year.

You can print these cards on regular paper to cut apart or use Avery 8871 Clean Edge Business Cards for a polished, professional look. Instructions are included, making it easy to create your own set of daily reminders. Display them in your home, carry them with you, or even share them with someone who could use a little encouragement this season.

Let these cards be a meaningful and personal way to reflect on what matters most to you this holiday season!

I can’t wait to begin this journey with you tomorrow. Take a moment today to reflect on what you want this holiday season to look like. You might even write down three words that capture how you want to feel this year. Keep those close as we take this step together.

Here’s to finding peace, joy, and love this season!

With anticipation,
Terrie

Terrie Power Coaching A December Reset and What It’s Teaching Me There’s something about December that makes things feel clearer. The lights, the quiet moments, the sense that a new year is close. This year, that feeling has shown up in a new way for me. I’ve been working on my 2026 offers and getting steadily more excited. But in the middle of all that, I hit a wall. Not because I didn’t have ideas, but because I had too many. My Enneagram Nine brain went into full “every path looks good”...

Terrie Power Coaching When Thanksgiving starts to look different This year, our Thanksgiving looks different. Maybe yours does too. We’re in that new phase of life where the “kids” are married, engaged, working real jobs with real schedules, juggling in-laws, holidays, and responsibilities of their own. And this year, all of that showed up in our plans. We’re still having our traditional Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, but not everyone can be here. Some are working. Some are with other family....

Terrie Power Coaching Why My Routines Are Wobbling (and What’s Helping) We have just one week,Reader, then it starts... This season has already started tugging at my routines, and I’m guessing I’m not the only one feeling it. Maybe it’s the fuller schedules.Maybe it’s the shifting emotions.Maybe it’s the quieter corners of life brushing up against the loudness of the holidays.Whatever the reason, I’ve noticed myself skipping the tiny habits that normally help me feel like… me. And if you’ve...
